BuffaBlog is back at it, bigger than ever! It's time for this year's Herd Fest. Four days, 14 shows, Buffalo's best, weirdest, awesomest, wildest bands spread across some of our best downtown venues.
Tickets are $5 each, or $20 for an All-Access Pass to go to as many as you'd like! Plenty to choose from, but don't let that get you discouraged. Every single line up is legendary and every Event Page has some perfect blurbs explaining what you should be ready to experience when they take the stage.
Go out & join the Herd! Catch your favorites at it again, & find some of the best new up & comers!
But wait! There's more. Other highlights this week include:
Rosedale : 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Evening Star Concert Hall - $7
Greg Burt is a Concert Promoter/Sound Guy/Music Supporter/Keyboardist/etc. He can be reached at Greg@FTMPEvents.com. For the full FTMP show calendar, visit www.FTMPEvents.com. For more on Greg's electronic rock band, visit www.OpticOppression.com.
This week's top show: Allentown Music Festival: Saturday and Sunday ($2 cover) at Nietsche's, 248 Allen St., Buffalo
Nietsche's has two days of amazing local music lined up for us this weekend starting at 2 p.m. and running all day both days on both the front and back stages for only a $2 cover. That's over 20 acts at Buffalo's live music staple in the heart of Allentown.
Get your buds, grab some drinks, and enjoy amazing local music. If I had to pick one day though, I'd go with Saturday to catch acts such as Second Trip, Randle & The Late Night Scandals, and Tom Stahl & The Dangerfields ... but Folkfaces & Shakey Stage are not to be missed on Sunday either.
Other shout outs:
Aqueous : 5 p.m. Wednesday at Larkin Square - Free
Adrienne Mack Davis : 6 p.m. Wednesday at Mohawk Place - $5 advance / $7 at the door

Editor's note:HEaRD IN WNY is a new weekly feature on All WNY News by contributor Greg Burt highlighting what he considers to be the best shows of the week for fans of live local music. Burt is a keyboardist and sound guy, probably best known for his work promoting local shows through For the Music Productions.
This week's top show: Jabbapalooza: 8 p.m. Friday ($5) and all day Saturday ($15/$20) at Soliday's, 3964 Lockport Road, Niagara Falls.
I mean, Jabbapalooza is a party every year.
So many of the biggest Rock/Metal bands come together for a double header double stage and some proceeds are going to help local musician Mike Miller who has been diagnosed with Cancer and has medical bills piling up.
Pig roast, beer, a crazy good line up, what more could you ask for?
If you can't make it to Jabbapalooza, there's much more to be HEaRD in WNY this week, including:
