Crean's album starts with an intro by Don Jamieson from VH1's "That Metal Show," which leads directly into the title track -- the track we'll air tonight -- which features a blistering lead guitar solo by Robby Lochner and features Vinny Appice on drums.
Crean's song will be immediately followed by "Here's the Thing," a weekly one-hour talk show featuring All WNY Radio program director Scott Leffler.

BUFFALO -- Tickets are still available for Tuesday's Seeker show at Mohawk Place show featuring Seeker, The Grindmother, Cognitive, and WVRM.
Doors open at 5 p.m. for the 16+ show with advance tickets available online for $15 and $20 tickets at the door.
Seeker is “an explosive and brilliantly vicious assault of grinding nihilism, filth-laden crust and thrash-inspired attacks,” according to Metal Hammer. The Dallas outfit has been a staple in the metal underworld since 2011.
Grindmother, by comparison, is relatively new to the scene, beginning in January 2015 after the 68-year-old lead singer posted a video of her guest recording session with her son. The video went viral and a band was formed.
Cognitive creates heavy, intensely technical music, while maintaining an edge of creativity that separates them from the over produced, sea of sub genres. Their brand of brutal, technical death metal combines blazing riffs with skull crushing rhythms and brutal grooves.
And WVRM makes "deeply, unsettlingly ugly music. Specifically: they make deeply, unsettlingly ugly grindcore. And like all the best grindcore, WVRM’s music sounds like it’s coming from someplace deep down dark, someplace most people will never acknowledge or confront; it’s antisocial, it’s pestilential, it’s reprobate," according to Metal Sucks.

CANANDAIGUA -- Elvis Costello & The Imposters will play the Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center at CMAC with special guest Dawes on June 17.
Tickets for the 7:30 p.m.. show go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m., ranging in price from $35 to $95 depending on section selection. Tickets available at Ticketmaster online, by phone at 800-745-3000 and all Ticketmaster outlets, as well as the Blue Cross Arena Box Office.

The show takes songs from the 1983 album, “Imperial Bedroom” with a twist.
“We never intended to recite this book from cover to cover," Costello said. "Listen to our new arrangement of ‘Tears Before Bedtime,’ it gets straight to the real meaning of that song, the way we hear and feel it today. Back in 1982, I might have been a step or two ahead of our crowd in the tragic, romantic stakes but I sense that they’ve all caught up with me now.”
Speaking of the second part of the show’s title, Costello added, “You never know who or what you are going to encounter down the corridor to those ‘Other Chambers.’”

This week's featured show is the Del Paxton Record Release Show at 7 p.m. Friday at Mohawk Place.
Del Paxton are an American alternative rock band from Buffalo. The band consists of vocalist/guitarist Dylan England (formerly of Longitude), vocalist/bassist Zach Schoedel (formerly of Fairway) and drummer Greg McClure (formerly of Beach Parade). They formed back in 2013; and are named after the fictional jazz pianist portrayed by Bill Cobbs in the 1996 film That Thing You Do! They played their first show in May 2013 in Fredonia and then released their debut five-track EP entitled "Worst. Summer. Ever."

Hey Western New York musicians: We need your help.
All WNY Radio has gotten back into the event business with plans to host a live show at a local establishment once a month.
We started with the 7th Annual All WNY Music Awards on Jan. 8 at Evening Star Concert Hall. Then we held the Blackened Heart Ball at Stamps on Feb. 12. And you may be aware of the All WNY Radio 11th Anniversary Party on March 25 -- also at Stamps. But we're one slot away from filling a show on April 11 in Buffalo and already thinking about May, June, July, and the months that come after.
The opening on April 11 would best suit a rock band (no metal, no rap -- as per the venue) and requires all band members (and attendees) be 21+ with valid ID. After that, we're literally looking for any genre. We like to mix it up.

We are also in need of new music. We always want new music. In fact, our goal is to play 365 new tracks this year on All WNY Radio. Again, any genre is great with us. For now, we mix it all up and put it on shuffle. In the not-too-distant future, we'll offer themed time slots for "office friendly" music, metal, rap, punk, live recordings and more.
